In the heart of England, a pile of stones sits on the side of the road. As you could probably guess,these stones are a lot more special than any other average rock pile. Archaeologists estimate that this stone gathering was constructed around 3100 BC. That’s nearly 5000 years ago!
Stonehenge, the name given to this medieval wonder, is a bit of a mystery. We still don’t know how or why primitive people moved big stones across the English countryside to this specific site.
